The Correspondence Leading to the Formation of the Nondualism List

Subject: [iam] I AM closing down through lack of interest

From:"Lobster" <[email protected]>

Dear Friends,

When this forum was set up it was very much my intention to hand over ownership to Jerry, Harsha or Ann Fisher (who has dissapeared) as soon as possible. I retained moderator access - which I did not want.

It is now my intention to close it down. People are settling into a comfortable stupor.

However Jerry has agreed to take over the list. I hope he is successful in this.

Be Well

I certainly hope God shows more compassion before closing down planet earth,

because several billions are living in what you call stupor.

Emptiness is Form. Ever wondered what that means?

Perhaps a demonstration. Coming soon . . .

And I couldn't help but giggle at your post Ed. I can't resist saying that it

simply struck me in a strange I was looking at a little boy who

wasn't getting his way, things weren't going according to his expectations,

so.....he declares he's going to take his toys and go home, or elsewhere. LOL!

Much love to you all

In Alchemy separation is part of the processing. We call this

"coagulate and dissolve". In Sufism two hands are brought together

to form a clap.

The list will close in three days.

Many thanks for being here.

Be Well

Subject:[iam] (HTML) Crazy poem

Date:Sun, 23 Aug 1998 13:03:53 +0100

From:"jb" <[email protected]>

Someone sings a song

Accompanied by drum and gong

The neighbors come along

They have an I AM jam

Accompanied by drum and gong

Some birds are singing in the rain

We are we are we are

The journey's long but not in vain

We have no luggage and no sorrow

We fly today, we fly tomorrow

A lobster playing with a clam

Is it real - or is it just a sham

The clam won't open up and lobster exclaims damn!

Then it thinks and shows a frown

You open up or I AM closing down

I hope I'm not stealing Lobster's fire. But I have another List with

Onelist, that I've been keeping as an ace in the hole. It's called

Nondualism. I was going to open it as a separate list, but when I saw

the possibility of the dissolution of this one, I decided to keep it

So, if you'd like to continue the I AM List elsewhere, please subscribe:

I've updated the description of the list to indicate that it is a

continuation of the I AM list. But the previous description may not yet

have been removed.

I personally invite each and every one of you.

I'm unsubbing from this one, so write me personally or on the Nondualism

list. See you there. Hey, the roads are slippery. Drive Carefully!

Love to all,

P.S. Please note that as Moderator all I had to do was change the

password to the I AM List so that Lobster would not be able to access

it. Of course, I respect that it is Lobster's list to do with as he

pleases. Even end it. And he has.
