Janine writes on
Alice's Restaurant:
I receive a newsletter from a supplier of essential oils who is
also
beginning to carry incense. In the latest one, he included some
links to
different websites on incense so I wanted to share them with this
group
(which he kindly told me were for sharing in the first place):

Incense
Offerings-
Throughout the world people of all religions have used incense in
their offerings. Their are many shared beliefs about the symbolic
meanings of incense and some which are unique to a particular
time, country and place. I thought it might be enjoyable for
those of you who love this subject to explore some of the links
associated with these traditions:

For those of you in Europe who have been asking about Baieido products. This is the best retail outlet for Baieido I am aware of at the present: http://www.klang-stille.de The German word for incense is "Raucherwerk". The price are in Euro. --David Oller
These are but a few of the web sites available on this subject. You can discover many many more if you will go to a search engine like Google and put in key words-Incense Offering, or other combinations that pertain to the subject: http://www.google.com/
Nondual RVing
What is 'nondual RVing'? It's RVing with a special interest in wanting to be in touch with people who have nondual perspective.
Right now the concept sounds a little funny and strange, but with the advent of three things, I don't think it's going to be so funny or strange. The first is affordable broadband wireless internet; the second is changing demographics, as most of us are entering our mid-fifties, or prime RVing age! The third is the mainstreaming of nondual perspective.
When you consider that there a few million people RVing full or part-time, clearly there have to be many out there already on the road who would be interested in this subject.
Slab City. They love the Slabs Stories are in every RV, tent at Slab City
Boondocking. This poop sheet came from 20 years of boondocking experience in U.S., Mexico and Canada and articles that appeared in Escapees Magazine.
www.freecampgrounds.com and www.newrver.com. They'll try to sell you some books! Good information and more links!
www.escapees.com Escapees RV Club is dedicated to providing a total support network for RVers, including the full-time RVing lifestyle. This site covers information about our RV club and its many services and benefits, such as our RV parks, an RV magazine, rallies, educational seminars, and mail and message services. We also provide information related to full-timing, motorhomes, travel trailers, and other items of interest to RVers.
www.rvadvice.com. Loads of links and good general information.
Workers on Wheels. "The leading resource for enjoying the enterprising and economical lifestyle of full-time RVing while still earning a living."
Jim and Elaine's Home Page. A warm personal touch and lots of links.
Nonduality for the Mind
Greg Goode's Non-Dualism and Western Philosophers. Where Hume gives good causality, this is the place to bring your philosophy knowledge up to nondual snuff.
Ludwig Wittgenstein, the essay highlights how the study of this influential and often difficult philosopher can be used to deconstruct parts of belief systems that are "bewitched by language" (Wittgenstein's phrase).
Stanley Sobottka's 'A Course in Consciousness', is now on the Web at http://faculty.virginia.edu/consciousness, a serious and noncommercial site. Sobottka is Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of Virginia, and has taught seminars in nonduality for the nonscientist.
